networks allowing users to track commercial occurrences for each brand. They can

allow users to prove that they more efficiently deliver target viewers than

the most advertising dollars are being spent on cable television. Users can find
out which brand categories are the most lucrative and further look within the
category to find out which advertisers are spending the lion's share.

Cable network distributor reports are available that provide total ad revenue
for each network monitored. This allows users to find out how financially
successful their ad sales efforts have been relative to the competitions'.
Monitor cable network promotional efforts against those of
competitors
In addition to commercial activity, Monitor-Plus collects occurrences of
promotional spots. This allows cable networks to gauge whether they are
promoting as much as their competitors. This capability extends to promotions
for cable network brands as well as program promotion.

Media wide ad spending reports are available for high level analysis. You can
find out how much money is being spent on advertising in total and by media type
such as: broadcast television, cable television, syndicated television,
magazines, newspapers, radio, etc. This can be done monthly, quarterly, annually
or based on custom measurement periods over time.
